- What age does my dog have to be to start training?
Dogs can start Obedience from 10 weeks of age (and have had 2nd dosage vaccination); there is no upper age limit. A current vaccination certificate with minimum C5, or a written certificate from your vet, must be provided.
- When does MODC train?
We train Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings excluding public holidays from late January/early February to mid December. There will be no training on Trial Days (Competition) and public holidays that align with a weekend e.g. Labour Day weekend etc. Cancellation of training will be noted on the Home page of this website and on our Facebook page.
- What age does puppy class cover?
10 weeks to 6 months.
- What training methods are used at MODC?
The training methods used at MODC focus primarily on positive reinforcement through food, toys and praise as well as negative punishment which simply means withholding the positive reinforcement.
- What disciplines are taught at MODC?
We teach Obedience, Rally and Agility
